WOW! The event was spectacular! Large screen as you walked in with racing footage, Don being interviewed over the years; red carpet, police directing traffic; women in cocktail dresses, food galore, open bars....the whole team from 20 plus years ago to now including John Leverett Sr and Jr....and the CARS!!!!
All the old models, THE NEW GTLM, the ABruzzi, Don Panoz personal cars, it was really great!
And I got to meet a few folks along the way that post here.
John Sr did say to me directly that they plan on getting us all together in some form or fashion and having us come to the factory; said he would love to see the whole parking lot filled with cars, maybe a group at Road Atlanta, who knows.
At the end we all got a bag with a book and a T shirt and some other small print items; for those of you that missed it you would have been proud! Dogdoc
